Jeremy Prentice is a commercial and projects lawyer with a particular focus on the airports, ports, aviation, aerospace and defence industries. His focus on these industries for the majority of his years in practice allows him to draw upon an enviable depth of experience when advising his clients. His experience includes PPP/PFI transactions, Privately Financed Projects (PFP), project and asset financing, procurement, construction contracts, consultancy, service and operating agreements, outsourcing and bespoke contracts addressing specific commercial and operational requirements, leasing and tenure requirements associated with complex projects and infrastructure.
Jeremy has substantial domestic and global experience having advised clients in Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States and the Middle East. Jeremy's clients appreciate his genuine interest in their industries and his deep understanding of their businesses and the industries in which they operate. He applies this knowledge to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice that is directed towards achieving his clients' business goals and objectives.
Jeremy has also held numerous prominent leadership roles including Chairman of the Infrastructure Association of Qld, Chairman of the Brisbane Bullets Advisory Board, the Qld Museum South Bank Advisory Board, the National Board of the international law firm K&L Gates, as an equity partner in major national and international law firms and various philanthropic pursuits. Jeremy’s strong commercial acumen, governance experience and leadership characteristics allow him to provide clients with assistance that extends beyond purely legal briefs.
